Instrument Rating refers to the qualifications that a pilot must have in order to fly in instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) or operate under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). The Instrument rating is a must if you want to become a career pilot, but is also very useful when flying long distances as a private pilot. During the course you will learn how to fly the aircraft solely by means of interpretation and understanding of the flight instruments and later how to navigate published departure and arrival routes. Our designated IF training routes will expose you to controlled airspace environments and all of the instrument flight procedures that coincide with flying under Instrument Flight Rules. It is a very interesting course and will most definitely make you a much safer and more methodical pilot!

* The above ground school is incorporated into the commercial pilot licence course if an instrument rating is sought.
