The Commercial Pilot Licence can be done if you decide to make aviation and flying your career. This will allow the qualified pilot to fly for remuneration with passengers during night and day VFR or night and day IFR if an instrument rating is sought. Our commercial licence course is extremely well structured and efficiently designed to provide the applicant with the expertise and knowledge to operate an aircraft safely and coherently.
You must have a minimum of 200 total flight hours to complete your commercial pilot licence. Starting with the PPL as the foundation of this course, you quickly go on to night-rating, commercial development (instrument rating-if doing IFR CPL) and after complex aircraft training followed by test preparation. In between all off this, our excellent team of instructors will take care of preparing you for the SACAA examinations. 100 hours as pilot-in-command (PIC) will be accumulated during the course. You will also undergo training on a single-engine complex aircraft with retractable undercarriage and variable pitch propellor or if so required, do the multi-engine rating which will be advantageous should you want to pursue an airline pilot career.
Flying with us, you will experience the beauty of South Africa, as all our training routes for commercial development take you far and wide across the country, enjoying splendid scenery, adventure and comradely.
