Commercial Pilots Licence.

The Commercial Pilot Licence can be done if you decide to make aviation and flying your career. This will allow the qualified pilot to fly for remuneration
with passengers during night and day VFR or night and day IFR if an instrument rating is sought. Our commercial licence course is extremely well structured and efficiently designed to provide the applicant with the expertise and knowledge to operate an aircraft safely and coherently.

 

Course entry requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Class 1 medical certificate
  • Holder of PPL (A)

In the case of CPL VFR only:

  • Radio Aids and Communication
  • General Navigation
  • Instruments and Electronics
  • Aircraft Technical and General
  • Human Performance and Limitations;
  • Air Law
  • General Radio Examination

In the case of Instrument rating:

  • Aviation Meteorology

  • Radio Aids and Communication
  • Special Procedures and Hazards
  • Instruments and Electronics
  • Aircraft Technical and General
  • Human Performance and Limitations
  • Air Law
  • Operational Procedures
  • General Radio Examination

Flight training:

You must have a minimum of 200 total flight hours to complete your commercial pilots licence.
Starting with the PPL as the foundation of this course, you quickly go on to night-rating, commercial development (instrument rating-if doing CPL/IF) and after complex aircraft
training followed by test preperation. In between all off this, our excellent team of instructors will take care of preparing you for the SACAA examinations.

enjoying splendid scenery, adventure and comradely.
100 hours as pilot-in-command will be accumelated during the course. You will also undergo training on a single-engine complex aircraft with retractable undercarraige
and variable pitch propellor or if so required, do the multi-engine rating which will be advantageous should you want to persue an airline pilot career.

This course from start to finish and done full-time can be completed within 15 to 18 months.
